Spring 2026 Final Projects and Showcase!

Spring 2026 Final Projects and Showcase! - MIT Assistive Technology Club

Spring 2026 Final Showcase

Closing out the Spring 2026 semester with new prototypes, deeper codesign partnerships, and continued momentum toward accessible, open design! This semester, AT@MIT teams continued developing assistive technology solutions in close collaboration with our codesigners and community partners. From mobility and navigation tools to accessible gaming, communication, and daily-living supports, each project is grounded in rapid iteration, hands-on prototyping, and sustained codesign. This semester also saw our project offerings expand, with the addition of a new Speech to LaTeX team, with a goal of bringing accessible tools to technical and academic writing. Our end-of-semester Final Showcase, held on May 8th at Charles Vest Student Street in the Stata Center, brought together students, codesigners, faculty, and community members to celebrate this semester’s work, each team presenting through posters and live demonstrations.

After the showcase, members of our team celebrated with a dinner at Yamato’s alongside some of our codesigners, a great way to close out the semester together. We’re already looking forward to building on these partnerships as we head into the next semester!
